Steve Perry Is A San Francisco Giants Fan!

Steve Perry - San Francisco Giants

Don’t Stop Believing… Will the Giants take the NL West over the Padres? Well from what we can tell Steve Perry thinks so. At yesterdays game in San Francisco the song was played over and over as the crowd sang along and Steve just smiled for the camera. What a great feeling that must be to hold on to! You go Steve, nobody could ever really sing it just like you did.

Recently while I was eating some pizza at the Universal City Walk in California, on the big screen right next to the Hard Rock Cafe, a video of Journey came on with them performing that song in concert back in their heyday. Boy were those guys young and skinny then! Pure Rock Stardom where the road and performing everynight really puts you in shape. One thing about Steve, he sure was amazing. Every note perfectly on pitch and so much power to spare. Truely one of my favorite singers of the 70′s and 80′s right through the 90′s with his solo stuff.

So what happened to Steve? Why did he leave Journey (or did he get fired)? What was the real story? Why did he stop singing? Was it really the nodes and he just couldn’t do it anymore, or did he just burn out? Well, whatever it was I’m sure glad to see he is still alive and enjoying life. One thing we can be sure of…If Glee didn’t play that song enough already…we’ll be hearing a whole lot more of it if the Giant’s make it to the Post Season playoffs. Can you say “more royalties”!

While it might be easy for someone to think so at first glance we have to say “definitely not”! There is so much more to MusiciansIndex.com than just making a cyber friend and showing off your latest video or song.
